Lynda Cho, joined Newmark Associates CRE in late autumn 2016. Transitioning from a bright career for over a decade as a designer in the fashion industry with famous brands such as J. Crew and Tommy Hilfiger, she developed an interest in the real estate profession during the move of her family from New York City to New Jersey, where she purchased her first home.
Woven into her role as a lead designer were responsibilities such as conducting market research domestically and abroad; partnership with R&D teams to create and compete with current trends; training and supervision of associate designers; and the planning, organization and supervision of diverse marketing efforts. This array of creative entrepreneurship, marketing expertise and her facility in managing interpersonal relationships in cross-functional teams, equip her well for her new role as a commercial real estate sales associate.
A former resident of Union County now residing in Essex County since 2011, Lynda is focusing on the commercial real estate market in Essex County in addition to communities conveniently located near New York City.
She graduated from California Polytechnic University of Pomona with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1996. Subsequently pursuing another degree, she achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from Otis College of Art and Design, where she was the Recipient of the 2001 Student Designer of the Year Award.
Lynda lives in Short Hills with her husband, and two children, who are both involved in sports activities outside of school, where she is an avid fan on the sidelines. Other active ventures include travelling with her family.
