Nancy Glick, COO of Newmark Real Estate – one of New Jersey’s largest commercial real estate firms, spoke with members of the GLOW (Girls Leadership Outreach and Worth) and BFI (Business, Finance, and Investment) clubs via Zoom on Wednesday, May 3.

Ms. Glick, who has worked with Newmark Associates since 2005, previously served as a Sales and Trading Representative for the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation in Washington, D.C.  She earned her undergraduate degree from Hofstra University and holds an MBA in Finance from George Washington University.

Ms. Glick spoke about her career path, the transition from working in securities to real estate, and her daily responsibilities. She answered a number of questions from the students, including “What advice would you give to your younger self?”

“Follow what your gut is telling you,” Ms. Glick told the students. “Look at what lights you up and what makes you happy. It’s easier to ride the hurdles in your career if you’re doing something you enjoy.”
