Deborah Myers, Managing Director and Broker-Associate at Newmark Associates, Inc. recently closed the sale of a 20,000 SF industrial building at 11 Progress Street in Edison, New Jersey. Ms. Myers represented the buyer, Fine Minerals International, in their search for a new location. Bernard Zimmel, Chairman of Zimmel Associates of Edison, represented the seller.
Purveyors of fine minerals, the internationally recognized company provides a comprehensive range of services for mineral collectors such as appraisals, custom display cases, curatorial services, provenance research, mineral photography and acquisitions and sales.
The total building size consists of approximately 20,000 SF plus an additional 6,000 SF mezzanine area. According to Ms. Myers, the unusual combination of warehouse/office space and marble floor showroom were important features in the selection of this property.
