David Yoon, Associate, one of Newmark Associates’ newest Sales Associates, joined the Newmark team in late summer 2021.  Recently, for 7 years, he was President and Co-Founder of a New York apparel company with a previously successful career as a Sales Director in the fashion industry in both Los Angeles and New York.

As an entrepreneur, David brings to his Newmark sales role experience, qualities, and skills resonant with the Newmark culture – building strong relationships with colleagues and external vendors; expert communication and negotiation skills; working independently as part of a dynamic team; project management; and an ability to identify and align strategic business, financial and operational objectives.

Born in South Korea, he was raised in Whippany, New Jersey, and lived abroad again in 2009 where he explored a brief term as an investor/partner in the textile industry in Shanghai, China.

David graduated in 2004 from the State University of New York Binghamton with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

He is married with two children — a 3-year-old boy and a 6-month-old girl. An avid outdoors enthusiast, he enjoys camping, and loves golfing. Future plans for community involvement include coaching Little League sports.
